The goal of the magazine will achieve is to 'de-stress' readers, give them good advise, and help them balance a good educational life with a good social life.
How often will it be distributed and where? It will be a FREE magazine distributed in the common room once a month. The reason it will be distributed in the common room is because it is where all the 6th former's go, it will be on show to every one of them. The reason I have chosen for it to only be distributed once a month is because releasing it once a week means the magazine would run out of things to publish quickly, it is important to remember that there is only so much you can publish on a school magazine. Also once a month means that it gives time to write a nice, detailed magazine that readers will defiantly enjoy.
What's the mag called and who is it aimed at? The magazine is called: 'SCHOOL SOCIAL' and it is aimed at students between the age of 16 and 18.
What do you promise to deliver to your target audience and what needs will you meet? I promise to deliver a informative and enjoyable read, it will for fill their needs and relieve their worries about 6th form and exams, it will also meet their needs to know about the latest fashion trends and keep up to date.
Which topics will you feature in your magazine? In my magazine I will feature: revision tips, a revision time table (as a freebie), how to balance a educational life with a school life, latest fashion trends, local sporting news and advice and interview articles from students and teachers.
What styles of article will feature? Styles of article that will feature will be smart, advisory, educational, fun and cheerful. The format will be easy to read and the fonts will be nice and clear (i.e. the one I am writing in now)
What effect will your magazine have on it's target audience? The magazine will have a positive effect on the target audience, it will provide them with good advice and will generally make them feel more satisfied and confident with themselves and on balancing their social life with their school life. It will also make them more confident about their exams and help them study and plan for them well.
